Lorraine Frances-Rees

“I discovered a love of art at an early age and studied A-level Art in Great Britain. I was lucky
to have access to amazing works of art in galleries in London and Paris when I was learning
about art history and more later when I spent some time in the United States. I won a
national BBC portrait competition and have exhibited in the United Kingdom. I have
continued to paint throughout my life and I am now beginning to sell my paintings in New
Zealand. I was recently placed second place in a juried art exhibition based in Los Angeles. I am a primary school principal as well as a musician artist wife and the mother of two wonderful young men.”
